EpiSensor is now available on DEXCell Energy Manager

Good news for EpiSensor users! DEXCell is now integrated with EpiSensor devices, allowing you to start using DEXCell Energy Manager to track and analyse your energy data.

What is EpiSensor?

EpiSensor is a brand of wireless gateway devices that collect accurate and real-time energy data for an energy management project.  

Being one of the world’s leading suppliers of wireless sensors, we wanted to make sure EpiSensor users can also enjoy the benefits of DEXCell Energy Manager. We’re pleased to add EpiSensor to our long and growing list of more than 200 integrated hardware devices.

How does it work?

We’ve developed a native integration with the EpiSensor hardware. Now any EpiSensor hardware user can benefit by analysing their data using DEXCell Energy Manager, by simply setting up a new EpiSensor gateway in their account.

What do I need to do?

You just need to configure your EpiSensor gateway with the correct FTP URL (ftp.dexcell.com) and the given user and password (automatically generated by DEXCell once the gateway is configured). That’s all you need to do. Then sit back and wait until we do the work for you, passing your EpiSensor data to DEXCell Energy Manager account.

What data can I get in DEXCell from EpiSensor?

The device will send lots of useful energy data to your DEXCell account, so that you can start getting a real and accurate view of energy use across your organisation, and pinpoint areas where you can make savings. To give you an idea, here’s the type of data we can get from your EpiSensor device:

Three Phase Meters:

  • Active energy (SUM and per phase)
  • Active, apparent power (SUM and per phase)
  • Voltage, Current (per phase)
  • PF (SUM and per phase)
  • etc.

 

Single Phase Meters:

  • Active energy
  • Active, apparent power
  • Voltage, Current
  • PF
  • etc.

 

Probes:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • LUX
  • Thermal Energy
  • Inlet/Outlet temperature
  • Volume
  • Mass flow
  • Pulses
  • Analog and Digital inputs
