Software Engineer II

I keep clients happy. You need to find a way to make sure the clients are getting everything they want, but without spending so many resources that it doesn't make the company profitable. It's a balance of interests.

5 years and this is my first job!

Eau Claire, Wisconsin

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Computer Science. The job I had lined up before graduation ended up falling through so I ended up interviewing at Dexma and was hired.

Maui, Hawaii. I've only been there once — it was my wife's and my belated honeymoon, but it's basically just one big mountain — just beautiful. We can't wait to go back again.

An arcade cabinet I made. I read about how to do it on the Internet, and then bought all the parts needed for the controls and the lumber, and my Dad and I assembled it together. It now sits in my home office.

I like to go to the gym to shoot hoops. The 'Y' by my house isn't too busy, so it's a nice place to go and be alone.

May 12, 2006 when my daughter Macy was born.

I like the stability. And the laid-back, but professional attitude is great. I'm always learning new things, too, so it keeps things interesting.
