History
In 1995, four principals, led by Steve Mase and Gretchen Peterson, founded Dexma with the vision of improving the basic business process for mortgage lenders. The business was built on the Application Service Provider (ASP) model, using Web-delivered software technology, offering development implementation and hosting services to retail, wholesale and correspondent lenders.
2007
- Gretchen Peterson assumes enhanced role driving security related initiatives within Dexma and its platforms
2006
- Develops 'The Lender's Edge' a comprehensive mortgage lending solution for community banks
- Earns MISMO's MXCompliance certification for credit, automated underwriting and flood requests achieving MISMO compliance
- Forges relationship with LexisNexis to help customers fight fraud
- Announces the Dexma platforms handled one million unique loans during 2005, or about $150 billion in loan volume
- Announces that Prime Alliance handled over 140,000 unique loans, or about $25 billion in loan volume during 2005 — a 34% increase over the previous year
- Gretchen Peterson elected to MISMO (Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization) Governance Committee
2005
- Dexma receives SAS 70 Type II certification from RSM McGladrey; this certification is a quality measure of Dexma's systems and controls
- Prime Alliance Solutions wins "Synergy Award" from Mortgage Technology magazine for creating "seamless connectivity between systems to advance the development of electronic commerce"
- Implements the Loan Fulfillment Center for 12 additional credit union customers
- Announces Dexma handled approximately $209 billion in loan volume for clients during 2004; Prime Alliance handles over $22.5 billion in loan volume
2004
- Jim Van Pelt joins Dexma executive team as COO and begins streamlining Dexma operations and product delivery
- Gretchen Peterson named one of forty 'movers and shakers under 40' by Business Journal of Minneapolis/St. Paul
- Forms Prime Alliance Services Co., with Prime Alliance, to bring a set of lender services to the credit union market
- Introduces the Loan Fulfillment Center, a Web-based processing and fulfillment platform
- Announces that Dexma platforms handled 2 million loans during 2003, or roughly $380 billion in loan volume
2003
- Wins "10X Award" from Mortgage Technology magazine
- Issues new versions of core products, Consumer Direct Center version 2.3 and Professional Lending Center version 4.0
- Prime Alliance Solutions, a partnership between Dexma and BECU, adds its 50th customer; loan volume has grown to the size of a top 20 retail lender
- Adds several top 40 residential originators as customers, including U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and E*Trade Financial, Mortgage Services
- Announces a three-fold increase in transaction volume
2002
- GE Mortgage Insurance Company wins Mortgage Technology's 'Website of the Year' for GE's AU Central — a broker-lender portal for wholesale lending, developed by Dexma for GE MI
- Adds Weichert Financial Services as a new customer and continues to work with First Horizon Home Loans, United Guaranty, PMI Mortgage Insurance, Triad Guaranty and GE Mortgage Insurance
- Launches the Dexma Lending Suite, that combines the new Consumer Direct Center with the Professional Lending Center
- Prime Alliance launches 29 new credit union sites and adds an additional nine new customers of Prime Alliance Solutions
- Wins several awards, including Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, Minnesota Technology Fast 50, Minneapolis-St.Paul Business Journal Growth 50 and Cisco Growing with Technology (runner-up)

- Announces successful deployment of Dexma Decisioner (Product/Pricing Engine) in First Horizon and ability to lock in rates real-time
- Announces platforms are driving over $23 billion in monthly loan volume
- Forms Prime Alliance with Boeing Employees' Credit Union (BECU)
- Dexma president Steve Mase wins Mortgage Technology magazine's "Steve Fraser Award"

- Launches first contract underwriting site for Genworth Financial
- Deploys consumer origination platform for BECU, Dexma's first credit union customer
- Enhances Transaction Director to include Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector automated underwriting service
1999
- A Dexma team, led by Gretchen Peterson, develops Web-based version of Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter (DU™) and Desktop Originator (DO™), commonly referred to as DO™/DU™ on the Web
- Launches first Web-based wholesale loan and origination platform
- First customers include mortgage.com, e-jumbo.com and National City Mortgage
- Enhances Transaction Director to include Fannie Mae's automated underwriting services at the point of sale
1998
- Launches first mortgage origination site for consumers for National City Mortgage, Old Kent Mortgage and PNC Mortgage

- In partnership with Equifax, deploys first Transaction Director service (credit) for Navy Federal Credit Union
- Launches the 'Communication Hub' for FT Mortgage web enabling third-party service ordering within Loan Officer Plus (LOS)
